Dobbs started his career at KBLU radio in Arizona before moving to television in the mid-1970s and joined NBC’s King-TV in Seattle. In 1980, he hosted Moneyline,
A business news show on CNN, and was among the network’s earliest correspondents. In 2009, Dobbs left CNN due to controversies regarding his coverage of illegal immigration.
From 2010 until the show’s termination in 2021, he hosted “Lou Dobbs Tonight” on Fox Business. Fox News Media expressed their sympathies by describing Dobbs.
As “an amazing businessman with a gift for broadcasting” and acknowledging his significant contributions to cable news. Dobbs is survived by his wife, Debi, and their six children.
