A seven-year-old boy, Abdul Aziz Khan, kidnapped in 2017, was recently found after being featured on Netflix’s Unsolved Mysteries. Abdul was abducted in Atlanta, Georgia, after Thanksgiving, sparking a cold case. The show encouraged viewers to submit tips, reigniting public interest.

Abdul’s mother, Rabia Khalid, took him after a court granted full custody to his father. In February 2023, police discovered Abdul 1,500 miles away in Colorado during a burglary investigation. Two adults, Rabia and Elliot Blake Bourgeois, were arrested and charged with kidnapping and identity theft.

Abdul is now in protective custody, and his family is overjoyed at his safe return. Authorities praised the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office for their efforts.
